Is Corona really a "CHINESE" virus??

Let's start from the very start. The Covid-19 virus which today has a firm hold over almost all countries of the world, first surfaced sometime in November 2019, in China. Next thing we know was that it started spreading from one human to another. In the beginning, it was not so serious and felt like a mild wave like any other disease that has ever surfaced on Earth. But, eventually, it became so strong that it is today the most feared topic.

In this blog, let's look at how and what China and the The Chinese government has done, with this virus. Is it really a biological weapon launched by China? Let's look at some of the factors that point out towards it being one.

1. The Doctor who could have saved the world:

In December 2019, a Chinese doctor, Li Wenliang, tried to report this disease and alert the authorities in China, to contain it before it becomes a threat. However, what he got in return was a document which he was made to sign. The document said that all the claims he was making were false.

On 30th January, the doctor himself was diagnosed with Covid-19 and he eventually died on the 6th of February, 2020. On the following day, the BBC had an article which stated the following:

'On 30 December he sent a message to fellow doctors in a chat group warning them to wear protective clothing to avoid infection.
Four days later he was summoned to the Public Security Bureau where he was told to sign a letter. In the letter, he was accused of "making false comments" that had "severely disturbed the social order".
He was one of eight people who police said were being investigated for "spreading rumours" Local authorities later apologised to Dr Li.'

Just imagine, if China had heard to this doctor and taken the necessary steps. The world would have been very normal and running as it was.

Was this a mistake from China? Or was it an intentional step taken by the government? Just think about it.

2. Domestic lockdown before International. Very unlikely, isn't it?

Unlike any other country of the world, China had imposed domestic lockdown before they imposed international lockdown. What this means is that they sealed their domestic city borders before they sealed their International borders. Especially, it was the major cities like Beijing and Shanghai which were kept isolated like a bubble. One thing worth noting is that there was no lockdown in these big cities despite the spread of a fatal virus within the boundaries of the nation. Beijing, Shanghai and other important cities were running as usual despite this spread, in their own bubble that the government had created for them.

Wuhan was put under complete quarantine, not before the 23rd of January, just two days before the Chinese New Year. However, the mayor of Wuhan himself said that around 5 million people had already fled from this infected epicentre of the disease.

Despite the fleeing of people, we could not see a rise in the number of cases outside of Wuhan. How is that possible? The only way it was, was if the major cities which are decently far away from Wuhan were secured inside a bubble with all access points closed.

What's interesting is how people from within China were not allowed to enter the important centres of the country but were allowed to fly out to Europe and Australia and the USA.

It was only around the 30th of January that China started sealing its national borders and international flights were cancelled. Many international airlines like British Airways had closed its operations in China. However, the China-based airlines were still sending out aeroplanes from China to the world. To put things into numbers:

"China Southern still cancelled 1,510 flights. 1,425 of those were domestic while 85 were international flights.
China Eastern cancelled 1,591 flights across its domestic and international network. 1,529 of those were domestic services and 62 were international."

First, the virus spread to Italy and Spain. Subsequently, this virus spread from these countries to the rest of Europe and then to the The USA as well.

Was this a sheer case of negligence of China or an intentional step to take down the world?

3. Does China have the antidote?

Every one of us is constantly checking the worldometer for the number of cases in India. But have you checked the Cases in China? Just have a look at it. According to the graph of cases recorded, there was a big spike on the 12th of February where China recorded 14,108 cases in a matter of 24hrs. And then there was a sudden drop to 5,090 cases on the 13th of February. Also, 11th of February added just 2,015 cases. The graph post 12th February has seen a steep decline.

Though many might rule this out as a coincidence, the fast recovery of China thereafter seems a little hard to digest. Out of the 81 odd thousand cases recorded by China in the lifecycle of this virus, China has somehow got over 75,700 cases to recover. On the other hand, Italy which is supposed to be having the second-best health care facility in the world has just 13,030 recoveries out of 97,689 affected.

While the whole world is struggling to fight this virus, China somehow has managed to get back on its feet and is running ahead of the world. Where all the stock markets were crashing, the Chinese stock market showed growth in the third week of March.

Some might still say that the Chinese government does not disclose facts that easily and hence, we can't be sure of the sudden spike or the numbers mentioned here. However, this same argument stands true the other way round as well. Though there is a steep decline in the number of cases and deaths are false, there is a possibility that there is a huge increase, which is even worse for the world. If the Chinese population is still fighting the Covid-19, why is the stock market going up? Why is the Chinese government lifting all the lockdown orders? Is it just risking the entire population to show to the world that it is alright?

Whatever it is, it won't take long before the whole world will be back on its feet. Like every other disease, this pandemic too will pass. Till then, let's make sure we are fit and fine and able to see the journey of the world through these grave times and can enjoy the better times that lie ahead. Please, stay safe, stay sanitised and stay happy!!

As for China, if it has an antidote and this was a biological weapon used, the world might be looking at another big war - THE THIRD WORLD WAR. In fact, if statements and hatred of the USA are taken into consideration, the War has already started!!

Let's talk a bit on a tangent: What all can we do to help develop our own country and affect the progress that China makes in these times?
1. We limit our usage of Chinese products. Quite simple. Just look out for substitutes and start using them.

2. Just abandon the Chinese products. Just imagine the damage we will inflict even if all Indians follow this. India is one of the biggest markets for Chinese products. Stick to Indian products. This will help the Indian stock exchange emerge out of this recession and get back to where it was and prosper ahead. Brands like Xiaomi, Oppo, OnePlus are dominating the sales charts of the Indian market. If we boycott these brands, irrespective of how good they are, it will be a big blow to the Chinese economy.

Think about these factors while you stay at home. It is time we fight the virus and the country which might be behind its creation. That's all. It does not seem long before we will know if China is a victim of this virus or the creator.

Given below are the links to all the sources of the points I made.

Note: All the points made above are simply a personal opinion and a mere elaboration of the most popular conspiracy theory which is floating around. Do not consider it a kind of news!!

What is Lenovo Moto doing wrong in India?

Motorola, a phone brand, well known to every Indian who knew what a mobile phone was, in the years when mobile phones had just come to India. Where is that brand now? Is it doing well in the Indian market? What is the possible future of the brand in India? Motorola was missing from the Indian market for some years if you remember. It was in 2013 that Motorola came back in India as a sub-brand of Google. And what came along was a craze for Android among the Indian consumers. At first, Motorola had 3 launches, the Moto E, Moto G, and the premium Moto X. All three phones were priced very competitively and it took the market leaders by complete surprise.  Motorola also offered silky smooth stock Android straight from Google and there were frequent and fast software updates as well. Moto G was a huge success in India. The legacy of the first 2 generations of the Moto G is still helping the sales of the current Moto G phones.  Currently, we are in the 7th generation of the G
